Dear Ayse Hanim ,
Please accept my warmest thanks for your kind hospitality and assistance during our recent visit to Gaziantep. It is really a fascinating place, and we all came away tremendously impressed by the dynamism of the city and its people.
That you took the time to take us around Gaziantep personally and introduce us to some of the people that make Gaziantep tick was truly generous. You made our visit far more pleasant and far more valuable than it otherwise might have been. My family and I greatly appreciated your parting gifts as well.
We have already shared some of our impressions of Gaziantep with the State Department in Washington. We are hoping to organize a trade mission to the region in order to make American companies aware of the tremendous opportunities there. We will continue to look for opportunities to increase contacts and exchanges between the U.S. and Gaziantep, and I hope that we will be able to visit again soon.
If you do come to Ankara, please get in touch with us. We would love to have the chance to be your hosts.
