Yesemek ,which is the first known open air sculpture workshop on earth,is very popular amoung our archeology lover guests. Especially our guests from Italy , are very much interested in the daily tours to Yesemek Open Air Sculpture work shop. Yesemek ; a field of sculpture , is founded by Late Hittites and famous with its mountain gods sculptures. . This was the largest sculpture workshop of the ancient Near East, and its silent witnesses of history remained, some half finished, some standing and others lying on their sides, watching our guests.The guests ask themselves if this was the way they had looked at Felix von Luschan, who had first come upon the site in 1890 and with what emotions had the Hittite sculptors looked at the half-finished lions as they departed, leaving behind them a mystery which still puzzles historians?
